Action Plan:

Concerned with children (ages 3-6) being challenged with basic skills due to school disruptions, Kiwanis created a rewards program for children reading with parents over Christmas break.

Action Plan:

Increase access to streamlined information and resources regarding COVID to our shut-ins, seniors, and quarantined individuals.  Provide 200 FREE 3-month subscriptions to the Ellsworth County Independent Reporter, which will include one weekly page dedicated to COVID information.

Action Plan:

Create Ellsworth County COVID Cares Boxes for those in quarantine or in households with positive cases, to keep families safe and financially unburdened.

Action Plan:

Create community resources board.

Deliver a COVID Care box to each household in Lorraine, with grocery gift card, hand sanitizer, masks, and resources guide etc. to encourage proper quarantines and access to information.

Action Plan:

Create COVID commodities boxes for families in quarantine to encourage them to stay inside and still have access to healthy foods.

Action Plan:

Create video of each player telling parents how to support their favorite Bearcat by engaging in healthy behaviors, including mask wearing.

Create a home game ticketing system which would be a branded mask with player number instead of a paper ticket.

Action Plan:

Purchase clear masks for all staff to wear during instruction so children can see their expressions and mouths.  Create a rewards program good for tuition reduction for families engaging in healthy behaviors or working towards curriculum progress at home.
